Synopsis
Melissa finds out her husband, David isn't exactly the person she thought she fell in love with. When an unhealed trauma from his past begins to emerge, his revealed truth leads to Melissa being held captive by her husband. What appeared to be one-sided love, poses the question, what actually propelled David's accused feelings and actions towards her?

Sarah Lazarus
ACTRESS
Sarah is an actress and singer with a background in psychology and advanced media studies. She has her grade 6 Trinity College vocal examinations, passed with distinction. She has been an opening act for several small-scale performances as well as Lloyd Cele. Similarly in her youth, she performed at the Grahamstown festival in Ngora gogo rocks in 2010. She is extremely excited by the world of musical theatre and her aspirations include being the first Indian woman to play the role of Elphaba in wicked as well as be the first Indian Disney princess.

Rania Magide
PRODUCER
Rania Magide from Maputo, Mozambique. Currently in 3rd year doing a BA in Motion Picture and majoring in Film Production. She always had a passion for telling stories which led her to this industry and later fell in love with film production. She got her inspiration from history, culture, people etc. She Hopes to showcase real stories that people can identify with and also learn from it.

Lindray Van Schalkwyk
DIRECTOR / WRITER
Lindray van Schalkwyk was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. From a young age, she has always seen and thought of herself as a storyteller, but as she grew older and her love and passion for telling stories gradually increased, she got an epiphany that there was a way to bring her characters and story worlds to life that existed beyond the page. That's when her love and passion for sharing and telling stories through the film medium began to rise and it is where she aspires to continue to learn, grow and immerse herself.

Samantha Smyth
COSTUME AND MAKE-UP STYLIST
Samantha Smyth was born and raised in Cape Town and is currently a first year student at AFDA. She plans on majoring in character design and styling as well as production design. Her love for film and theatre revealed itself very early on in her life. She is very excited to develop her skills and for what the future holds.

Nande Ngxoxo
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Nande Ngxoxo is a young cinematographer currently studying at Afda. She
has filmed multiple short films and has recently finished shooting her graduation film The Muse.
Nande has performed on a few different stages including Fish High School's very
own Terry Hepworth hall and Art scape. Nande's music is mostly targeted at the
youth, ages ( 14-20 years old) people who are mostly struggling with finding
themselves. Nande has performed in Fish Hoek High's very own production Below
My Feet and the Variety concerts and some church concerts.

Live Kanyinda
DIT / GRADER
Live is a congolese woman that grew up loving film and television. Originally wanting to study directing, she fell in love with cinematography at AFDA and decided to study that instead. She loves learning about cultures and languages in her free time and would love to make film or documentaries on these topics during her career.

Janke Strydom
EDITOR
Janke was born and raised in Durbanville and has been interested in films since his father showed him Star Wars: A New Hope. He also has a big interest in new technology so he decides to combine his
passion for film and technology by researching and studying how the post-production of a film works. What Janke likes most in film making the feeling of making a story flow and making the film
one moving story.

Bryoni Baxter
MUSIC COMPOSER
Bryoni Baxter was born in cape town, her family moved to New Zealand for her dad’s work. Bryoni and her sister were homeschooled by her parents. She entertained herself by reading lots of books, running across grassy fields and playing her grandmothers old piano. Her parents realized she had a natural talent for music, and took her through to the closest town to get lessons on piano and music theory.
